Carolyn Ann Mooney
<p>Carolyn Ann Mooney, age 78, of Detroit, passed away, Monday, June 20, 2022, at Paris Regional Medical Center. Carolyn was born, February 28, 1944, in Coral Gables, Florida. She was the daughter of Darrell and Dorothy Shoffner Ward. Carolyn was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church and was retired from Weyerhaeuser Incorporated. She married Billy Wayne “Bo Jack” Mooney in Wright City, Oklahoma in 1980. He preceded her in death along with her parents; 2 sons, Michael Dean Strickland and Matthew Brady Strickland and a brother, Charlie Ward.</p> <p>Survivors include her son, James Strickland of Detroit; a brother, Stanley Ward and wife, Mickey of Clarksville; 4 grandchildren, Shane Newby, Zachary Strickland, McKenna Strickland and Matthew Treyson Strickland; 1 grandson, Kiyon Anthony Barber and a number of nieces and nephews.</p> <p>Memorial services are set for 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022, in Lindeman Chapel of Clarksville Funeral Home with Rev. Don Shovan officiating. Services are under the direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Whitemans Chapel Cemetery, C/O Linda Poteet 1805 W.
