Roger Dale Browning, 70, of Harts, WV, departed this life on June 20, 2022, at his residence.

He was born August 28, 1951 in West Hamlin, WV, the son of the late Ercil & Jane Browning.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Ellen (Collier) Browning, his grandparents, Miles & Winnie Browning and Gracie & Ercil Workman and his good friend, Mitch Adams.

Roger loved spending time with his grandchildren, wood working and telling tales.

Those left to cherish his memory include two daughters, Christina Browning and Lora Browning both of Harts; one son, Paul (Felicia) Browning of Verdunville; two grandchildren, Urijah and Zayden; three sisters, Shelia Tomblin of Milton, Lehoma (Kem) Abraham of Chapmanville and Delana (David) White of Alabama; two brothers, Benny (Judy) Browning of Barboursville and Eugene (Sherrie) Browning of Harts; his best friend, Larry Colwell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm at Freeman Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the funeral home with Larry Colwell officiating. Burial will follow at the Browning Cemetery, Harts, WV.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
