Janell A. Bardon Obituary

Janell A. Bardon, age 67, of Elkhart Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Sheboygan Aurora Memorial Medical Center. She was born on July 16, 1954, in Watertown, WI, a daughter of Annabelle (Maas) and the late Albert Annis. Janell attended Ashippun Schools until 7th grade when she moved to Elkhart Lake. She graduated from Elkhart Lake – Glenbeulah High School in 1972. Following high school, Janell attended Lakeshore Technical College and worked as a CNA at Sunny Ridge, other nursing homes in the area, and Borden’s. On September 1, 1973, she married David Bardon at Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake. The couple lived in Green Bay and Janell devoted her time to raising their children while David was finishing his college education. They moved back to Elkhart Lake in June of 1977 and built a home together. Janell then worked at Sargento for several years. In 1993, David and her purchased Anchor Lanes and began Bardon Bowling Centers where she dedicated countless hours of her time and talents. Janell was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Elkhart Lake. She lived her life with generosity and love. She helped support the community in any way she could, especially with supporting David in his membership in the Elkhart Lake Fire Department and the Elkhart Lake Lions Club. Her compassion, generosity, and willingness to do anything, earned her the Lions Club International Melvin Jones Fellow Award which she was very proud of. She enjoyed gardening, bowling in many leagues for over 40 years, going for pontoon rides on the lake during their 28 years of residence there, and hosting and entertaining at their home. Janell was an avid Packer and Brewer fan. Mostly, she loved taking vacations and spending time with her family. Janell enjoyed following her grandchildren's activities and sporting events and was their biggest fan. “Grandma Nell” was always taking care of everyone, especially her grandkids. Janell’s unconditional love and dedication to everyone will be forever missed.
