Shirley M. (Davy) Davis Bay City, MI Shirley M. Davis, 86, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Toni and Trish House following a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Bay City on October 20, 1935, to the late Albert M. & Marion (Jolly) Davy. She attended the Catholic School until her marriage to Gerald E. Davis on September 6, 1952. Shirley then traveled for the next 20 years with her husband, who was in the U.S. Airforce. Once they settled back in the area, she worked as a Salesclerk for K-Mart, where she made many good friends and retired after 25 years. She loved crocheting, knitting, trips to the Casino and spending time with her family. Shirley is survived by her children; sons, Jeffrey A. (Patricia) Davis, and Gerald E. (Pamela) Davis II, daughters, Debra M. Maxson and Joy L. (Todd) Needham, 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and dear friends, as well as her good friend, David Torrez. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, daughter Patty A. Davis, Son, Darrell L. Davis, and brother, Col. Albert W. Davy. Per the family wishes, private services were held.
