Obituary Rachel English died on Sunday, June 19, 2022, from a sudden illness. Rachel was born June 20, 1952, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Luther Judson Price High school in 1970 and had a successful career as a produce manager for over 20 years. Rachel was a devout Christian. She was a women’s chaplain, and volunteer at the homeless shelter. Her family paid this tribute to her ‘Rachel was one of the kindest and generous people you could ever meet. She loved the Lord with all her heart and she will be sorely missed by her friends, family, and all who knew her.’ She is survived three children, Nicole (James) Scales, John Jr. (Mary) Eubanks and James (Ashantia) Eubanks and two grandchildren, Kiara and James. She is preceded in death by mother, Janet Johnson. A funeral service will be held at 1pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the Crawford and Crawford Funeral Home, Reverend Sean Jackson, will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at Glenwood Florist located at Glenwood and Candler Road.
