Viola Tyminski, of Jersey City, passed away at Family of Caring Healthcare in Ridgewood on June 19, 2022. She was 93 years of age. Born in Jersey City, Viola was a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time in her garden. Viola also enjoyed cooking and watching classic movies. She was an avid listener to the radio, often preferring it to television. Viola was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward. Left to cherish her memory are her son, James Tyminski and his wife Helene and grandsons James and Steven Tyminski. Viola is also survived by her sister, Eileen Fischer and niece, Jennifer Fischer. Friends may call at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City on Thursday, June 23rd from 2-4 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM at Saint Paul of the Cross R.C. Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
