Hannah “Henny” Kaplan died at age 95 in Stamford, Connecticut on June 20, 2022. Henny was born on December 14, 1926 in Brooklyn, New York. She is survived by her children: son Howard and his wife Carol, daughter Sharon, and son Joel and his wife Rachel. She is also survived by her granddaughters: Holly and her fiancé Brendan and Whitney and her husband Lawrence. She was predeceased by her husband Hy, brother Marty and sister Esther. She is also predeceased by her two sisters in law, Estelle and Blanche. Henny was a strong woman who saw and experienced so much – she grew up during the aftermath of the depression, witnessed WWII and married a veteran shortly after the war, raised a family of three as a working mom and lost her husband in 1977. She was the matriarch who gave us all strength, love and her very strong opinions. We will miss her dearly and want her to rest in peace. The Interment will be private.
