<p>Leonila Tapia Reyes passed away on June 14, 2022. She was 73. Leonila was born on September 30, 1948 in Michoac&aacute;n, Mexico to Jesus Tapia Tellez and Maria Trinidad Juarez Tapia. She relocated in the 1980&rsquo;s to Pajaro, where she and her husband Juvenal Reyes (50 yrs.) purchased their first home. In 1994, they moved to Portola Heights in Watsonville. Leonila worked in agriculture for Reiter Berry Farms, until 1999. During the pandemic, she worked for Del Mar Frozen Foods Cannery. Leonila liked to knit, crochet, and connect with her friends. She would cook and clean, to help people. People remember her as a friend who was always willing to listen and give advice. Leonila was active, dependable, a hard worker, and was known as a &ldquo;warrior&rdquo;.</p> <p>She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 siblings, and is survived by 5 siblings, her children; Marina Zarate, Martin and Jorge Reyes, 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child.</p> <p>A visitation will be held on Monday June 20th, 2022 from 5-9 pm, with a Rosary at 7 pm. Mass to be held at St. Patrick&rsquo;s on Tuesday June 21st, 2022 at 10 am. Burial to follow at Valley Public Cemetery.</p>
