<p>David Eugene Peery, of Goodview, passed away on June 19, 2022. He was predeceased by his parents, Luther and Echalene Peery; brother, Luther Peery Jr.; sister, Ruby Layne.<br /> He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kay King Peery; son, Darryl W. Peery (Amy); daughter, Amanda N, Richardson (Evan); grandchildren, Nicholas David Peery, Noah Peery Richardson, Lyla Grace Richardson; sisters, Martha Corell and Jane Overstreet; two special children, Lane and Leland Woods and many special friends and family. David served in the U. S. Army and was a disabled veteran. In lieu of flowers please make donations to The Disabled American Veterans.<br /> The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lotz Vinton Chapel. There will be a funeral service Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m with a visitation one hour prior, with Pastor Jay Richards officiating, Burial will follow at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.<br /> The family wishes to thank all the Doctors and Nurses, especially Intrepid Hospice.</p>February 25, 1941 - June 19, 202202/25/194106/19/2022
