William (Bill) A. Canfield October 30, 1950- June 11, 2022 Bill is survived by his Sister Elsie (Canfield) Reagan, Brother Robert Canfield Sr. ( Cookie), Maureen Zollo, Nieces: Jessica Rosado, Natalie Campbell ( Jacob), Barbara Canfield (Buddy) Kathryn Elerby (Eric) and Melissa Whiting ( Ken). Nephews: Shane Gibbons (Tamara), Scott Canfield (Sandy), Tim Canfield (Randi), Bob Canfield (Nancy), Tom Canfield (Tammy) John Canfield, and 27 Great Nieces and Nephews. Bill worked at Dayco Ind. and Stevens Ford for many years each. Bill was an amazing photographer, filming many friends weddings and brought joy with photographs of nature and scenes around Milford and Stratford CT. Many of his photos were featured on Channel 8 news and in The Milford Magazine. He was an Avid race car fan, loved boating and fishing on “ Barnacle Bill” and rides on his motorcycle. Bill was a true Hippie all his life, and one of the thousands at “Woodstock”. His homemade pizza could have made him a millionaire. A Celebration of his wonderful life at Bill's request will be held at Gulf Beach in Milford on Sunday June 26th from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. We will do a Bourbon toast (bring a nip) and have pizza. Rain or shine. Donations in his name and memory can be made to Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford.
