Jacqueline (Jackie) L. Murphy, 93, of Nottingham, New Hampshire On June 12, 2022 Jackie passed away surrounded by her family, to find her eternal peace. Jackie was born on October 14, 1928 in Lowell, Massachusetts and grew up in Raymond, New Hampshire. Jackie formerly lived in Somerville, Massachusetts and Sarasota, Florida with her Husband Richard Charles Murphy who passed away in 2019. Jackie is the sixth-born daughter of Henri William Lacouture and Marie Jeanne Lorianna Carle. Sister’s Theresa Lacouture, Claire, Florence, Pauline, Gloria, and brother Carle, all have predeceased Jackie. One son of Jackie and Rich - Alan Paul Murphy, passed away in 1993. Sister Carmen passed away two days after Jackie, on June 14. Jackie graduated from Raymond High School in 1946 with honors and received the Daughters of the American Revolution Good Citizen award and later in life studied creative writing at Bunker Hill College in Boston. She was an aspiring journalist. Jackie was bilingual(French), and an accomplished cook. She had worked as a cashier at the Harvard Coop in Cambridge Massachusetts, and also as a bank teller at the Middlesex Savings in Somerville, while raising her four sons and providing caregiver assistance to her mother and father-in-law. Jackie loved to travel and swim, and enjoyed the gulf beaches of Florida. Jackie leaves behind her beloved sons Richard Murphy, David Murphy and Brian Murphy with wife Joann who all reside in Nottingham, NH. Also her Granddaughter Amber (Murphy) Barnes with Husband Derrick Barnes, and two Great Grandsons Wyatt and Sawyer Barnes of Deerfield, NH. There will be a graveside service at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Epping, NH at 10am on Friday June 17th, 2022.
