Ryan Scott Macumber Obituary

Suddenly on May 26, 2022 in Winnipeg, MB, Ryan Scott Macumber passed with his partner Jasmine at his side.


Ryan was born in Thompson where he attended school. He lived his whole life in Thompson and had various jobs. Ryan met Jasmine, his hunting, fishing, berry-picking, everything partner in 2016 and they built a life together with many adventures. The many adventures took them to South Indian Lake and down south. The stories were always shared by Ryan with his eyes lit up and his enthusiastic retelling of his adventures. Ryan was always one to have more than one adventure unplanned but fun. Ryan loved being at Clarke Lake and was always eager to show his friends and family the offering of Clarke Lake.


Ryan leaves to mourn his partner Jasmine Dumas, parents Skip and Brenda Macumber, sister Ashley, nephew Brody, nieces Taylor and Emma. He also leaves to mourn his mother in law Celina Dumas, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


He was predeceased by his brother Dustin, grandparents Donald and Beverly Macumber, Gordon Reid and Mary Jane Meconse.


Friends may call at Boardman Funeral Home, 28 Nelson Road between 6 and 8 pm on Sunday, June 12, 2022.


Funeral services will be held at Burntwood Baptist Church, 39 Beaver Crescent on Monday, June 13 at 1pm with Jack Dysart officiating. Internment to follow in the Thompson Cemetery. Reception will be at Royal Canadian Legion following internment.
