Bobby Gene Hopper of Tuttle, OK passed away on June 9, 2022 at 74. He was born May 29, 1948 to Robert F. and Jirldene Hopper. Bob graduated from Stinnett High School in Stinnett, Texas in 1967. He attended college and obtained his Bachelor of Science from West Texas State University in Canyon, Texas in 1972. He taught math and football one year in Canadian Texas. He then returned to working in Oilfield related businesses for the next 38 years. He worked for several different companies during that time as a consultant and in sales. He was so successful in these positions because he loved talking to others and was such a loving, caring person always ready to help make things work. He retired from TNT Crane in 2015, but because of his love for people and socializing, he became a pilot car operator for 5 years, officially retiring in 2021.

Bob married the love of his life, Ellen Forester on January 24, 1970 and they had two children, Brian and Pamela. He was an elder at Heritage Family Baptist Church in Tuttle, OK. Bob’s greatest joy came from helping others and he was always finding a project or something he could do for friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert F. Hopper; his in-laws, Wesley and Nadine Forester; sister-in-law Jocalee, and husband Melvin Thompson; brother- in- laws Don McCollough and Jay Roger (Coke) Shelton.

Bob is survived by his wife, Ellen of the home; son, Brian and his wife, April from Tuttle, OK; daughter, Pamela Grillo and her husband, Joshua from Piedmont, OK; four grandchildren; Caden and Logan Hopper, and Parker and Arabella Grillo; mother, Jirldene Hopper; brothers, Jim (Betty) and Dana (Cindy); sisters Robbie Geib (Gary) and Denise Burr (Terry); sister-in-laws, Marilyn McCollough and Vesta Shelton.
