Solomon Lemuel Thomas – Perry, 43 of Dalton, Missouri passed away May 11, 2022.

Solomon was the doting father, husband, son and brother as well as a phenomenal Emmy Award winning artist, entertainer and businessman.  He began drawing at the age of 2 and that talent was nurtured and encouraged where he won many awards and competitions, one being with Right On Magazine where they asked him to stay on to do graphics at an early age.  He later became passionate about graffiti, hip hop and the pop culture specializing in trompe l’oeil (trompe l’oeil/3D art, the art of illusion. It can often make you question your own eyes).  Solomon appeared on the Oxygen Networks reality show “Street Art Showdown” where he won many of the competitions and was adored in the entertainment industry.  He was a seasoned musician and performer that wrote, recorded and produced his own music. Solomon, his talent, his smile with deep dimples and his infectious laugh will be missed immensely by everyone that has crossed his path.

 

Solomon is survived by his wife Assa McDonald; three daughters Nathalie Francine Perry, Selah Samira Perry and Jurah Eugena-Mae Perry; mother Anna L. Thomas (preceded in death) and Debra T. Perry, father Terry L. Ward (Cassandra) and Alaric C Perry (Cassandra); brother Kemon L. Perry, Landon L. Perry, Jeffery A. Dumas Jr, Bryan E. Ward, Troy D. Ward, Vincent E. Jackson, Jabbar K. Smith; sister Caitlyn R. Perry, Gail M. Ward, Terri Y Ward; grandmother Anna L. Thomas and Evangeline Ward (both preceded in death); mother in-law Sheila F. Wilson-Madden (George); father in-law Rodney McDonald (Kelly), sister in-law Feliz D. McDonald and a host of cherished relatives, friends, fans and associates.
