George Phillip Meenach

George Phillip Meenach, 65 of West Jefferson, OH passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Kobacker House in Columbus, OH.  He was born on June 27, 1956 in Grayson, KY.  Phillip was a 1974 graduate of West Jefferson High School and obtained an Associate Degree from Columbus State in Criminology.  He was a former Volunteer Fire Fighter/EMT for Jefferson Twp. Fire Dept. a former Police Officer for the Village of West Jefferson, former part-time Police officer for the City of London and a former Assistant Chief of the Madison Emergency Medical District.  He recently worked in Customer Service at the Pilot Travel Center in London.

George is preceded in death by his father Everett N. Meenach.

He is survived by his mother Mary Janice (Stamper) Meenach of West Jefferson; sister Tamra S. (Anthony) Venditto of North Canton, OH; niece Angelena (Jeffrey) Schapiro of Barberton, OH; great nephew Micah David Schapiro of Barberton; beloved pet Noel.

Visitations will be on Sunday, June 12th from 6-8 p.m. at Lynch Family Funeral Home, 124 East High St. London, OH 43140 and Monday, June 13th from 6-8 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14th at Malone Funeral Home, 375 Malone Lane, Grayson, KY with Rev. Ron Arnett officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Grayson, KY.
