Donna Mae Mackenzie

Donna Mae Mackenzie, 80, of Epping, NH, formerly of Danvers, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Exeter Hospital. She was surrounded by her loving family and her dog, Sassie. Donna Mae was born in Danvers, MA on July 10, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Arthur W. Mackenzie and Doris T. (Osgood) Mackenzie. She graduated from Holten High School in Danvers, MA and later attended secretarial school. Donna Mae was the devoted wife of the late, Robert Hudson. She was employed as a Library Aide at Penn Brook School in Georgetown, MA while her children attended there. She also worked as a Nanny and an Administrative Assistant with the Lawrence District Court in Lawrence, MA for several years. Donna Mae was involved with Kreative Krafters for many years in Georgetown, MA and enjoyed painting and drawing. She participated in the Girl Scouts of America and was an avid animal lover, especially dogs. Donna Mae enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Donna Mae is survived by her two daughters, Heidi Langlais and husband, Kevin, of Epping, NH and Tamee Akstin and husband, Jeff, of Haverhill, MA. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Mackenzie, Aimee and Chase, as well as her beloved dog, Sassie. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Hudson in 2006. Family and friends are kindly invited to attended visiting hours on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at The Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St. Epping, NH 03042.
