Funeral services for Betty Myers Davis, 69 will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2022 at Barr-Price Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. Burial will follow in Lexington Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 9 from 5-7 p.m. at Barr-Price Funeral Home.

Mrs. Davis went to be with her Lord June 2, 2022. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Gussie Myers. She was a woman of great faith and a warrior. She was very proud of her time as a Sunday school teacher and loved gospel music, singing her favorite gospel songs. Mrs. Davis was a heart transplant survivor. She loved her family and never met a stranger. She was a wonderful loving person whom wore her heart on her sleeve.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband, David Davis; daughter, Cynthia Tidwell (Perry); grandchildren, Robert Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson, Amanda Carpenter (Marlin), Perry Tidwell, Jr., and Alicia Bolen; great-grandchildren, Marlee Carpenter, Bella, Hazel, Ivey, and Hailee; and daughter-in-law, Sheryl Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her son, Robert W. Ferguson, Jr.; brother, Tommy Myers; and sisters, Barbara Cole and Brenda Osborne.
