Richard Calvin Allison Obituary

Richard “Rich” Calvin Allison, 63, of Palm Harbor, FL passed away June 2, 2022 at Suncoast Hospice Center surrounded by family. Born in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania moved to the St. Petersburg area in 1974. He graduated from Lakewood High School in 1977 and later from University of South Florida. Recently retired from 25 years of service with Baycare Health. He is preceded in death by his parents Calvin and Shirley Allison. He is survived by his loving wife Lynette Allison; children, Matthew (Vannessa) Allison and Zachary Allison; stepchildren, Allison Pruim and Josh Pruim; sister Kathy (Russell) Krull. Rich was a modest, intelligent, and generous man. His dry humor never ceased to create an infectious laughter in our home. He was always ready for a trip to the beach or a good meal with a beer. He loved classic rock music, traveling, working out, and his family pets. His warm spirit and kind heart were felt by those closest to him. “You are safe, you are home, until we are together again.”
