Funeral services for Dianne Herring 75 year old Kaycee resident who passed away suddenly at her home in Kaycee on Thursday, will be held Wednesday June 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the Harold Jarrard Park Building in Kaycee with The Rev. Deacon Leigh Earle. Visitation will be held at the Harness Funeral Home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the Park Building from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Kaycee Cemetery with graveside services to follow the funeral. Donations in Dianne’s memory may be made to the Hoofprints of the Past Museum at 344 Nolan Avenue, Kaycee Wyoming 82639. Online condolences may be made at www.harnessfuneral.com Dianne Lerae Herring was born on March 28, 1947 in Laramie, Wyoming to Vernon and Virginia Richards. She grew up and went to school in Laramie and graduated from Laramie High School with the class of 1965. After high school she attended beauty college and later worked in a shop in Laramie. She was married on August 12, 1972 in Laramie to Gordon Herring and made their home in Sheridan, Wyoming where Dianne worked for the Bank of Commerce. In 1981 they moved to Kaycee, Wyoming where Dianne was a homemaker. In 1984 they moved to Gillette, Wyoming where she worked in a beauty shop and one year later they returned to Kaycee where she owned and operated her own beauty salon. Dianne went back to Casper College in 1996 and received an AA in Paralegal Studies. She was a substitute teacher in the Kaycee and Midwest schools for many years. Dianne and Gordon continued living in Kaycee until her death. Dianne became active in Episcopal Church and traveled to England, Israel and Greece. Every Tuesday organized and taught a Bible study in Casper at Mountain Plaza Assisted Living. She is survived by her husband Gordon Herring of Kaycee; two sons, Russ Herring and his wife Trish of Great Falls, Montana and Gary Herring of Casper, Wyoming; one sister Kathy Gomez of Fort Collins, Colorado and four grandchildren, Cesar, Maria, Duncan and Rivers Herring. She was preceded in death by her parents.
