Graveside services for Dorothy Jean Drennan Moser, 92, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 in the Rosehill Cemetery with Rev. John Glover officiating. There will be an open visitation for those wishing to pay respects and sign the register book at the funeral home from 9:00AM-5:00PM on Monday, June 6, 2022. <br><br>Dorothy passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022 in Fort Worth. She was born to John Stephens Drennan and Louna Jane Smith Drennan on December 6, 1929 in Cleburne. Dorothy was a lifelong member of Field Street Baptist Church where she was active. She was one of the founding members of the Prayer Quilt Ministry Group at church as well. Her talents in crafting, crocheting and quilting and many other kinds of sewing and hand-work were awe-inspiring. She was known for her baking as well. On November 13, 1948 in Cleburne, she married the love of her life, Curtis August Moser. They were married nearly 38 years at the time of his death in 1986. Dorothy was a lady of great faith and resiliency, always having a wonderful sense of humor as well as heart for others’ needs. She never complained, no matter what obstacle she was faced with. Dorothy enjoyed traveling the United States. Two of her favorite past-times were working crossword puzzles and genealogy. She was also an avid reader. Dorothy’s ability to face life with a smile no matter what, her giving nature and outgoing spirit will be missed greatly by those who knew her best. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant daughter, Cynthia Ann Moser; son, Jon Moser; son-in-law, Kenny Stevenson; and brothers, Harris Drennan and Pat Drennan. <br><br>Survivors include her son, Don Moser and his wife, Peggy; daughters, Kathy Stevenson and Lori Williams and her husband, Jeff; daughter-in-law, Ann Moser; grandchildren, Bradley, Melanie, Shawn, Kelsie, Michael, Kyle, Wills, and Lauren; 7 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. <br><br>The family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org or Field Street Baptist Church at www.fieldstreet.com in lieu of floral tributes. <br>
