Lee Charles Horace

Lee Charles Horace was born April 8, 1935, in Camp Ruby, Texas to the late L.P. Horace, Sr. and Bessie Butler Horace.<br><br>Lee grew up in Colmesneil, Texas and attended high school at Henry T. Scott High School in Woodville, Texas. At the age of nineteen, he entered into the United States Navy and served four years active duty and four years reserve duty. <br><br>In 1961 while attending Texas College, he met Luvonne Sibley. The two married in 1964 and moved to Colmesneil where Lee became a teacher and coach at Colmesneil High School in 1967. <br><br>Lee went home to be with the Lord on the morning of June 1, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.P. Horace, Sr. and Bessie Butler Horace, one brother; L.P.
