In Loving Memory of Karen McBane who passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the age of 79, with her loving sister Joan by her side. <br>Beloved daughter of Francis and Katie McBane (both predeceased) and dear sister of Joan Sabourin (Jacques) of Ottawa.<br>Cherished Auntie of David Sabourin (Maire) of Vancouver and Anne Sabourin (Gaspár) of Ottawa. Special Great-Aunt to Oskar and Ilse Sabourin of Vancouver, and Sophie and Simon Csete of Ottawa. She will be dearly missed by many cousins and friends. <br>Karen was born and raised in Sudbury and graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing North Bay in 1964. She was a true healthcare professional who had the wellbeing of patients under her care until her retirement in 2005. <br>She loved the young children in the family and took an active interest in all their activities and schooling. She will be remembered for her love of movies and joyous outings with her friends. <br>The family expresses their deepest appreciation to Janet Binette for the fervent support she offered to Karen during her time of illness. <br>She was a faithful member of Holy Redeemer Church.<br>Resting at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch Street, Sudbury (Friends may call from 2-5PM Tuesday, with Parish Prayers at 3PM.<br>Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury, Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at 10AM.<br>Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Sudbury Food Bank would be appreciated.<br>

Beloved daughter of Francis and Katie McBane (both predeceased) and dear sister of Joan Sabourin (Jacques) of Ottawa.
