Stanley W Etter

On June 1st of 2022, Stanley William Etter of Owasso, OK went to his heavenly home to forever be with his Lord and Savior. He was the oldest son of William and Lola Etter among 13 kids. Stanley was preceded in death by parents, William and Lola Etter and one granddaughter, Derryle Summers. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, June Etter of the home; one daughter, Donna Kerr of Owasso, OK; three sons, Daniel Etter (Charlene) of Collinsville, OK, David Etter (Donna) of Claremore, OK and Dale Etter (Linda) of Claremore, OK; one brother Edward Etter of Broken Arrow, OK; grandchildren, Eric Kerr (Annette) of Mansfield, TX, Aaron Kerr (Trisha) of Broken Arrow, OK, Amy Chouteau (Lane) of Sherman, TX, Roxann Morgan (Dwaine) of Chelsea, OK, Chris Williams (Kristy) of Claremore, OK, Emily Fulmer (Shawn) of Claremore, OK, Kyle Etter (Sam) of Claremore, OK, Travis Etter of Claremore, OK, Kayla Kirk (Coale) of Owasso, OK and Derek Etter (Kelsie Edwards) of Broken Arrow, OK; 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews. Stanley was a long haul truck driver for many years and retired as a diesel mechanic. Stanley was known to be able to fix most anything that had an engine and was talented in solving most mechanical problems. He was a wood carver, metal worker, toy maker, tinkerer, playhouse builder, all around handy man and was known for his home made chicken and dumplings that were always requested at family gatherings. He and June worked in MAPS RV volunteers through their local church and traveled with other workers in their rv's to build and or repair churches facilities and various outreach ministry buildings. Funeral services for Stanley have been entrusted to the care of Dillon Funeral Service, Sand Springs, OK.
