1990 – 2022

Steven C. Grubisa, age 32, recently of Wolfeboro, NH, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Steven’s family is broken hearted but at peace knowing our Steven is no longer suffering.

Steven Christopher Grubisa was born March 28, 1990 to Gary and Cathy Grubisa in Newtown, CT. The Grubisa family moved to Wolfeboro in 1998 where Steven attended school in the Governor Wentworth School district, Graduating from the Ombudsman Alternative School in
2008.

Steven loved deeply, seeing the good in everyone. He loved New Hampshire and all things outdoors. Especially the mountains, gardening, wild life and was in awe of God’s creation. Steven especially loved his family. The way he showed his love, written so beautifully on his face as he came in for a big bear hug, saying “I love you so much”. Those hugs will be dearly missed. Steven loved the Lord and has studied the bible extensively. He became a born again Christian and was Baptized at the Granite State Baptist Church in Concord, NH. Steven loved history, he loved his country and was a true patriot. Steven had many highs and lows in his life, always learning and loving life along the way.

Steven met the love of his life, Maria Adams, in 2020. Their relationship was so sweet and a joy to watch bloom. They enjoyed many of the same activities, especially walking around Portsmouth and dreaming of one day owning a business and living there.

Steven is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Michael and Wilhelmina Grubisa, His maternal grandparents, Jack and Jeanette McGee, His aunt Anita Grubisa and Uncle Sean McGee.

Besides his parents, Steven leaves behind his brothers Garrison Grubisa (Faith LaPointe) and Jonathan Grubisa (Kelly Main). Niece Emma Grace Grubisa. Sister-in-law Carrie Grubisa (Daryl Saunders). Aunts: Patty Aylesworth (David Evans), Wilhelmina Degenhardt (Art Degenhardt). Uncles: Michael Grubisa (Cindi Grubisa), Daniel McGee (Kim McGee), Gary McGee (Rhonda Griffith). Cousins: Lisa Paolian, Jennifer Perry, Nicole McGee, Jack and Connor Aylesworth. Fur babies: Sparkey and Smokey. And many other extended family and friends.
