<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Graveside services for Meriam Barber White, age 73 will be held at 11am Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Ephesus Baptist Cemetery.&nbsp; Rev. Chris Harrison will officiate under the direction of OTT &amp; LEE&nbsp; Funeral Home of Forest.&nbsp; Visitation will be held from 10am till service time at the Church.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Miriam was a lifelong resident of Lake, MS. She taught second grade at Lake Elementary School for 32 years.&nbsp; She was married to her husband Vernon White for 47 years. She loved her family and her two fur babies. She was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church at the time of her passing. She enjoyed scrabble and word games. She loved her granddaughter Katie more than anything. She is rejoicing in Heaven with her family that went before her ... her parents and her two brothers.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>She was preceded in death by her parents, A.R. Barber and Mary Frances Gould&nbsp; Barber, and brothers, Ronald Barber and Roquel Barber.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Survivors include her husband Vernon White&nbsp;of Lake, daughter Jenne W. Pickering (Austin) of Brandon and granddaughter Katie McElhanney.&nbsp; She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Pallbearers are Rodney Walton, David Hardigree, David Tadlock, Billy Everett, Austin Pickering, and Chris Baker.</strong></span><br /> &nbsp;</p>
