Elizabeth A. Leinbach

<p>Elizabeth A. (Collins) Leinbach, 70, Stony Creek, passed away on June 1, 2022, at Reading Hospital. She was the wife of the late Thomas K. Leinbach, Jr., who passed away on Feb. 4, 2009. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Rowe and Pauline (Snyder) Collins. Elizabeth was a graduate of Muhlenberg High School and a member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stony Creek. She was most often thought of as the cornerstone of the church due to her involvement in Sunday School, Church Council, many different programs, and for being a sexton. Elizabeth was a former member of the Reading Liederkranz and Evergreen Country Club. She was also a retired certified nursing assistant, working last for Covenant Home Care and various other companies over the years. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by 2 brothers, Ronald and Rowe Collins, and a sister, Barbara Ohlinger. Surviving are her children: John D. Leinbach and his wife, Jody of Mohrsville; Kurt A. Leinbach and his wife, Susan of Exeter; Victoria A. (Leinbach) Egolf and her husband, Toby of Muhlenberg. Also surviving are her siblings: Charles Collins, George Collins, Robert Collins, Pearl Ohlinger, Louis Collins, Daniel Collins, and William Collins and one granddaughter, Tristen Q. Leinbach of Arlington, VA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1375 Friedensburg Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Relatives and friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church. Burial will be private at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Online photos and memories can be shared at&nbsp;www.cramp-hummelfunerlhome.com&nbsp;In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church in her memory.
