George Albert Randolph Obituary

Andrews: George Albert Randolph, 76, died Friday at his Warsaw residence. Mr. Randolph was born in Detroit, AL, on December 4, 1945, a son of the late George W. Randolph and Letha Roberts Randolph Newton. Mr. Randolph worked hard all his life, but always had time to help his family and friends with any of their needs. He loved old cars, trucks and farm tractors; his dream was to be a farmer. George loved riding his motorcycle with his brother whenever they had the chance. Hanging out with his siblings was the joy of his life. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, Mr. Randolph was predeceased by: his sisters, Faye Turner, Louise Randolph, Lucille Cleland, Janice Marks and a nephew, John Wesley Ethridge. Surviving are: a brother, Burt Randolph (Anna) of Cookeville, TN, five nieces, Mitsi Chaple, Laura Hamm both of Beaufort, Angie McIntyre of Florence, Terri Pomeroy of Yulee FL, and Lee Brock of Wanshese, NC, several great nieces, great nephews and several great-great niece and nephews. Funeral Services will be two o’clock, Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Jack Todd. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, May 31, 2022, at the Andrews Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home from five until seven o’clock. There will also be a time to visit with the family prior to the service on Wednesday in the chapel, from one until two. Please sign a guestbook at: www.mayerfuneralhome.com.
