Edited obit no photo "Please just sing a song!" Phyllis Seitler, 92 of Wallingford died Friday May 27, 2022 at the Rutland Regional Medical Center. Wife to Richard Seitler, a sister to Eileen, Marty and Shirley. Son, Calvin, remains and 4 grand children and great-grandchildren. Loved to care and support family, traveling many miles and living in Germany, New England and Colorado. Passions included a green thumb, cooking and sharing recipes on Carl & Iva's dairy, syrup, potato and corn farm in Schoharie. Trained to be a nurse at Wilson Memorial and listened to the gospel quartets. Practiced as a nurse, and her passion to work with babies propelled to working as charge nurse in maternity and pediatrics. Phyllis remembered where each family lived, and brightened the workspace with poems for the nurses & doctors. Retired from the hospital and returned to service as a nurse and caregiver during her retirement. Maintained strong faith in God, played the pump organ at Hubbardton & Danby Four Corners and sang hymns through all her days. A memorial service will be held 10 AM Saturday June 4, 2022 at the First Baptist Church of Wallingford . Burial will follow in the East Clarendon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to Ludlow Baptist Church, First Baptist Church, Walllingford or Moody Bible Institute. and to the needy and poor anywhere
