Lindsay Charles Depew, Jr.

Lindsay Charles Depew Jr., went to be with the lord on May 19th, 2022. He was born on August 30th, 1943 in Harrisburg, PA. Lindsay was the son of Lindsay and Pearl Depew, both predeceased. Lindsay is survived by his wife Jeanne Depew of over sixty years. He has three sons- Lindsay Charles Depew III (Wife Billie), Ty Alan Depew (deceased), Eric Russell Depew. Lindsay has six grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. He also has two sisters and a brother- Sue Spear (Husband Robert), Gayla Sisti (Husband Ernest), Jeffrey Depew (Wife Carol), plus nieces and nephews. Lindsay has worked in trucking all his life, he retired from ABF. He was a member of Vibrant – A Christian Church where he had the honor of serving as an Elder. Lindsay always felt one of his greatest accomplishments in life was when he played on the 1959 East Pennsboro undefeated, unscored upon championship football team. He was an avid fan of his son’s football teams; he never missed a game. Lindsay was a family man, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, spending time at the beach and just being with his family. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday June 10th at 3pm at Vibrant – A Christian Church, 1775 Lambs Gap Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The service will be officiated by Drew Peterson and Michael Russell. In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to the Church or Downtown Daily Bread.
