Marjorie Anna Farris Caswell, age 85, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022, at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Nicholas County on May 7, 1937, to the late Curtis Farris and Pauline Bussell Farris Vice. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James “Lefty” Caswell.

She is survived by three daughters, Jamie (Ronnie) Hutchison, Tracy (Carl) Courtney, Andrea (Donald) Laytart; two brothers, Ronald Dean Farris, Paul (Anna Bell) Farris; two sisters, Loretta Farris, Beverly Collins; four grandchildren, Raychel (Dennis Yalkut) Laytart, Rebecca (Macy Marshall) Laytart, James (Mindy) Courtney, and Jessie Hutchison; four step grandchildren, Lee (Selena) Lakes, Stacey (Stephanie) Hutchison, Christal Bruce, and Stacey Streitenberger; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob Peterson, Evelyn Marshall, Jackson, Finlee, and Kori Yalkut, Emma Jo and Tomi Lynn Courtney, Xyren Smarr; thirteen step great-grandchildren; two step great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held from 4:00-6:00 PM, Thursday, May 26, 2022, at the Curry United Methodist Church Fellowship Building, 1609 Upper Curry Rd N., Cynthiana, KY 41031.
