Asbjorn “Bill” Heidenrich Cramon Guldhauge of Cranston, passed away peacefully on May 20th at Hulitar Hospice Center at the age of 78 with his family by his side.
Bill was born in Copenhagen, Denmark to William and Stella (Andersen) Guldhauge who immigrated to the United States in 1956 and moved to South Providence. He attended Central High School and then started a lifelong career as a very talented and gifted sheet metal worker with union Local 17, until he retired in 2005. He married Eileen Banigan in 1970, settled in Cranston and went on to have two daughters.
He enjoyed annual summer camping trips with his good friends and family and loved hosting the best nightly campfires. He also enjoyed taking long motorcycle trips on his Harley Davidson, and weekend rides with his friends from Ocean State H.D. He was always willing to help anyone in need, whether it was volunteering, donations or his expertise and labor on handyman projects. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters Amy Guldhauge and her partner Joseph Mansour of Coventry and Dayna Guldhauge of Keene, NH. He is also survived by his sister Lisbeth Manuel and brother-in law Richard, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be sadly missed.
