Mr. Billy Earl Gray, 86, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022 at Vidant Inpatient Hospice. A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday at 2 PM in Pinewood Memorial Park. A native of Pitt County, Billy was son of the late Huey and Thelma Godley Gray of the Bells Fork community in Greenville. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Spain Gray and a daughter, Mary Lynn Gray. Surviving are: son, Rickie Gray and wife, Barbara, of Belvoir; grandson, Jared Gray and wife, Lizzy of Chocowinity; grand-daughter, Heather Gray Rogerson and husband, Hunter, of Williamston;and great-grandchildren, Lilly Gray, Hadley Rogerson, and Huntley Rogerson.
