<p>Clinton-Rex Bicchieri, 89, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, May 7, 2022. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 64 years, Joan V. (Leonardi) Bicchieri. He is survived by three sons, Robert J. Bicchieri &amp; wife Maryann of Littleton; Paul S. Bicchieri of Winchendon; and Wayne S. Bicchieri &amp; wife Sunita of Candia, NH; 7 grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Kevin, Melissa, Dylan, Toni, Manisha, and Cassandra; one great-grandchild, Koralee; sister-in-law Patricia Bicchieri; and niece Erica Boudreau, both of Natick; extended family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his brother Robert P. Bicchieri. </p><p>Rex was born in London, England, son of the late Dr. Anthony Bicchieri &amp; Yvonne (Reed) Bicchieri. Raised and educated in Boston, he graduated from Boston English High School, Class of 1951 and achieved his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Northeastern University in 1956. Mr. Bicchieri spent his successful forty-year professional career with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, from where he retired as Department Head and Senior Bacteriologist. In retirement he held membership with the Worcester Model Railroaders and enjoyed the hobby of collecting and building detailed HO Scale Model Train sets. He was a proud family patriarch, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. A celebration of the life of Rex Bicchieri will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11AM-2PM at the Ridgefield Condominium Clubhouse, 10 Ridgefield Circle, Clinton. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
