Carole (Ferrato) Keary, 74, of Lyndhurst, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022. Born in Newark, she lived in Bloomfield before moving to Lyndhurst. Carole was the daughter of the late Louis and Anna (Petrella) Ferrato. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony D. Ferrato, and her son, Justin Keary. Carole is survived by her daughter Deanna Schoonhoven, and her husband TJ, her grandchildren, Taylor Wargo and Mackenzie Schoonhoven, and her great granddaughter, Aleyna Olgun. Carole loved going to bingo and casinos during her free time. Carole was a self-employed bookkeeper prior to her retirement.


The funeral will be 9:30 am from the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home, (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley.

The funeral Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Church, 28 Brookline Avenue, Nutley on Tuesday, May 24 at 10:30 am

The interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 712 Grove Street, Montclair

Visitors will be received at the funeral home on Monday, May 23, from 5-8 pm
