Funeral services for Tom Warax, 62 year old Buffalo resident who passed away suddenly Wednesday morning at the Johnson County Health Care Center in Buffalo will be held Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Harness Funeral Home Chapel in Buffalo with Reverend Tom Saur officiating. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Donations in Tom's memory may be made to Buffalo Community Outreach formerly known as Habitat for Humanity at PO Box 721 in Buffalo. Thomas Edward Warax was born on July 18, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Bert and Jean Warax. He grew up and went to school in Iola, Wisconsin and graduated from Iola High School with the class of 1977. Tom was an operating engineer and belonged to Local 139 Operators Union. He was married on April 18, 1984 in Gillette to Jennifer Zaremba and they made their home Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin where Tom was an equipment operator. In 2012 they moved to Buffalo, Wyoming to care for his Mother Jean Warax. Tom retired 2015 and continued living in Buffalo until his death. Tom was a member of Operators Union Local 139. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, hiking and camping in the Big Horns. He loved doing for others and building. His passion was spending time with his family and many friends. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife Jennifer of Buffalo; two brothers, Dave Warax of Buffalo and Bob Warax and his wife Leslie of Rapid City, South Dakota; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister-in-law Jeane Warax.
