Mae Josephine Foster went peacefully in her sleep me on May 18, 2022 in Vancouver, Washington. Mae was ready to go “Home” and the angels came to take her to be with her late husband Jack Foster, Sr. and daughter Marilyn Kay Larsen. Mae and Jack are together again.<br><br>Mae was born in Pauloff Harbor, Alaska on May 24, 1929. She was the youngest child of Gunder Kristian and Katie Gundersen. In her youth she ventured to Wallace Idaho where she met the love of her life, Jack. They were married 12/22/1946 and spent 70 years together. Mae and Jack raised their family in Sand Point, Alaska and lived in Lynnwood and Vancouver, Washington<br><br>Mae was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She lived a long and rewarding life. She and her husband, Jack, owned several businesses in Sand Point, Alaska. Mae was a master crafter and was known for her beautiful crochet pieces she shared with family and friends. She loved to work in her garden, hike and most of all, spend time with family. Mae was a born again Christian and was a member of the Baptist church in the communities she lived.<br><br>Mae is leaves behind her daughter Donna and Andrew Jones of Vancouver Washington and son Jack and Amy Foster of Sand Point Alaska, son-i7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. <br><br>Mae will be laid to rest alongside her husband Jack in Anchorage. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.<br>
