Funeral Services for Mrs. Sandra Walker, 83, of Rayville, LA, will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 23, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, with Rev. Calvin Stapp and Mr. Todd Michael McManus officiating. Interment will be at Rayville Masonic Cemetery. Mrs. Walker was born November 9, 1938 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 19, 2022. She retired in 2006, after 30+ years from Rayville Elementary, after touching numerous lives. Mrs. Walker enjoyed a good puzzle, reading, uno game, but most of all spending time laughing and joking with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Johnnie Mann; husband, Frank Walker, sister, Susie Pipes; brother-in-law, Bill Pipes; sister-in-law, Eloise Walker; and son-in-law, Larry Sanders. Survivors include her four daughters, Jackie McGilton and husband Robin of Deville, Candie Walker Sanders of Rayville, Polly McManus and husband JR of Delhi, Wende McManus and husband Todd of Rayville; eight grandchildren, Kristi Walker Hightower, Allison Trapp, Robyn Michelle McGilton, Dakota McManus and wife Miranda, Todd Michael McManus, Brittany McManus, Kara Doiron and husband Phillip, and Patrick Sanders and wife Jennifer; ten great-grandchildren, Kolby Tilley, Morgan Trapp, Mila Ann Michelle McManus, Branson McManus, Aeralea McManus, Anna Kate Doiron, Ally Doiron, Skye Sanders, Asher Sanders, and Ames Sanders; brother-in-law, Johnny Walker of Rayville; sister-in-law, Nancy W. Bradshaw and husband Early Ray of Baker; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
