Cora “Corky” Alma Nesbitt passed away on Thursday May 19, 2022. Corky was born on October 23, 1930, in Garnett, KS to Naomi (Ashburn) and Clothe Rogers. As a child, she moved to Lamar, MO where she lived until she was a young adult. She moved around in her adult life, living in a variety of places including Erie, KS, Chanute, KS, Springfield, MO and Clinton, MO before settling in Lamar, MO. Corky enjoyed crafting yarn hangers, quilting, and coloring in her coloring books. She loved her family. She was stubborn, comical, and a sweetheart with a giving heart.<br><br>She is survived by her sister, Paula Yeager of Lamar, MO; daughter Shannon Turner of Parsons, KS; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; niece Regina Rogers of Lamar, MO and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; siblings Goldie Myers, Eldon Rogers, Donald Rogers, Dean Rogers, Eva Boyd, Sharon Irwin, and Robert Rogers; grandson Levi Rogers; and great grandson Landis Wolken.<br><br><br>Services are pending.
