<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12.0pt; font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Carmella Teresa Forst (nee Spano), age 88, passed away peacefully with her son and daughter at her bedside on May 18, 2022.&nbsp; She was born in Chicago on December 24, 1933 to Vito and Carmella (nee Vitro) Spano.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Forst , son Paul Forst and granddaughter Tiffany Amber Forst. &nbsp; She is survived by her son Wally (Sandy) Forst and daughter Mary (Dominic) Tonnarini. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Ryan Forst, Brad Forst, Dominick (Aubrey) Tonnarini and Anna Tonnarini.&nbsp; Carmella was quite the spitfire and a very unconventional grandmother (Nani).&nbsp; She had a terrific sense of humor and kept her grandchildren laughing whether she was drinking Lemoncello shots with them or entertaining them with her quick wit.&nbsp; Cremation has taken place.&nbsp; A private mass and burial will be held at a later date.&nbsp; Carmella was a huge believer in Catholic masses.&nbsp; In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider having a mass said in her name.</span></p>
