Richard M Bergmann

Richard M. Bergmann, age 83, passed away peacefully at his home in Plainfield, IL on May 18, 2022. He was a long time member and past Chief Ranger of the Independent Order of Foresters, Faith Branch. He enjoyed playing golf and bocce, making beautiful stained glass creations and spending time with his grandchildren. Richard is survived by his loving children Cynthia (Anthony Stankus) Bergmann and Richard P. (Carol) Bergmann; cherished grandchildren Laurel (Steven Lupa) Stankus, Andrew Bergmann, Nicole Stankus and Brandon Bergmann; dear brother William (the Late Diane) Bergmann; and dear friend Joan Kraft. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Loretta (nee Olsowka); parents John and Marie (nee Kuester) Bergmann; and brothers John (Jeanne), Bernard (Renette) and Michael (Evelyn) Bergmann. Visitation will be held Monday, May 23, 2022 from 4-9 pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 10 am at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 505 Kingston Dr, Romeoville, IL 60446. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
