Eugene Lamb Obituary


Eugene Lamb passed away at home, surrounded by family, on May 16, 2022.  He was 76 years old.  

 

Gene was born to Verald and Florence Lamb on September 3, 1945.  He was #6 of 7 children that grew up in Midvale Ut.  In 1967 he enlisted in the Army serving in the Vietnam War in the 1st Air Cavalry Division.  He was honorably discharged in 1969 being awarded the Purple Heart.

 

Gene had met and dated his wife Robyn Lamb for several years before they were married in 1978.  They had their only son Jeromy shortly after.  Together they had lived in Cokeville Wy until 1986 when they moved to Evanston Wy.  Gene drove truck for Yellow for 30 years retiring in 2010.  He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and playing pool.  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 2359 and a life member of the VFW Post 4280.

 

Gene is preceded in death by his wife Robyn in 2013.  Also by his mother, father, brothers Dal, Tim, Ken, Les and Ross Lamb, and his little sister Bea Lamb.

 

Gene is survived by his son Jeromy (Lexi) Lamb, granddaughters Angelina Smith and Rachael Lamb and 1 great granddaughter.

 

There will be a celebration of life on Wednesday May 25 at 4:30pm at Spanky's Bar 149 Bear River Dr, Evanston Wy.
