<p>Manley, Alida E., 97&nbsp; passed away on May 16, 2022.&nbsp; Beloved wife of Douglas Manley(deceased 1999) for 52 years. Loving Mother of Douglas Manley Jr(deceased 2016) and his wife Nancy, Roger Manley (deceased 1991), Stephen Manley and wife Rebecca of Bullard, Texas, and Marcia Garstin and her husband Douglas of Waldwick, NJ. Dear Grandmother of six grandchildren, Terry, Michael, William, Aaron, Jacob, and Brooke, and six &nbsp;great-grandchildren,Samantha, Talon, Anthony, Michael, Adalyn and Preston. Alida was born in Cromwell, Connecticut to Elizabeth and Hubert Botelle. Brothers Hubert, Henry, Ellelar, and Horace, and sister Mildred and Betty are deceased.&nbsp; Alida graduated from the Middlesex Memorial Hospital of Nursing in Middletown, CT, and was a cadet nurse during World War II. She worked as a nurse at the Perth Amboy Hospital in Perth Amboy, NJ, the Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, and at Bergen Regional Memorial Hospital in Paramus, NJ for 25 years.&nbsp; She was a member of The Waldwick United Methodist Church, the Golden Club of Waldwick, and the Valley Hospital Auxillary, Waldwick Branch, Rachel Circle of W.U.M.C.. &nbsp;Alida, also, loved playing cards, set-back and bridge.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <p>Funeral service Saturday 9am at The United Methodist Church of Waldwick, 25 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick, NJ 07463.&nbsp; All to meet at church.
