Josephine Marolla

Josephine Marolla (nee Mancuso), 77, of Holiday Heights section of Berkeley Twp., NJ passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Born in Sicily, Italy, she lived in Brooklyn, NY and Freehold, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp. in 2005.

Josephine was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cosimo Marolla, her son Michael Marolla of Brooklyn, NY, her daughter  Maria Sampugnaro and her husband Victor of Staten Island, NY, a brother Julio Mancuso of Georgia, and three sisters Concetta Marullo of Florida, Lena Sciabarra of Toms River and Maria Mascitti of Georgia.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 22, 2022 2:00pm – 4:00pm & 7:00pm – 9:00pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday, May 23, 2022 10:00am at St. Maximilian  Kolbe RC Church, Berkeley Twp.  Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
