Our Mom Joyce Mervyn, lovingly known as "Gramma J" , passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on May 9th at Moog & Friends Hospice Penticton B.C., at the age of 90. She was predeceased by her sister Jenny and brother Bill. Joyce is survived by by her children Jay (Trudy), Patti, Jack (Doie), 8 grand children Cassandra, Leanne, Trevor, Erin, Marissa, Ryan, Fern, Fong, and 7 great grandchildren Landon, Hailey, Nolan, Max, Elijah, Halle, Lumen. She enjoyed a long career with Okanagan Telephone/BC TEL/TELUS where she met many of her friends. Joyce had a strong love of nature, and the outdoors, and over the years spent many a day walking through forests, climbing mountains, fishing, cross country skiing, biking, bird watching, gardening...you name it. That really was her happy place. A special thank you to Moog & Family Hospice House for lovingly caring for Mom in her final week, and Dr. Bannerman for his care and compassion.
