Tommy Eugene Morgan

Tommy Eugene Morgan was born on August 7, 1950 in Fort Payne, Alabama, to Eunice and Willard Morgan. He departed on May 16, 2022. Tommy was loving, patriotic, and always willing to help others. He had a beautiful smile and personality with immeasurable love of family and friends. He loved buying dog toys and treats for his grand puppies, Sport and Scout. Tommy shared a beautiful life in Midlothian with his wife Sofia of 46 years. They had two wonderful children.<br><br>Tommy grew up in Dekalb County, Alabama and graduated high school in Alabama. Before joining the Army to be a Medic, he attended college and trade schools in Alabama. Tommy was a Medic in the Army for several years. He left the Army to attend to Sofia when she became too ill to take care of children back at home. <br>As a very young kid, Tommy and one of his older sisters got lost for almost a whole day riding their bikes in Japan, where their father was stationed. He had an adventurous, curious spirit. <br><br>Tommy enjoyed driving. After the Army, Tommy Drove for the Dallas Yellow Cab taxi company and was a Midlothian school bus driver for several years. Tommy loved to go fishing at Joe Pool Lake. Tommy went fishing every chance he could get. When not fishing, you would catch him reading books and playing video games on the computer. Tommy loved watching movies and reading books of all genres, but sci-fi was his favorite. He also loved music, all genres, but he loved music from the 70's the best.<br><br>Tommy is preceded in death by his wife, Sofia Morgan, and son Michael Morgan.<br><br>He is survived by his daughter Sophia Morgan. <br><br>Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 9:00AM at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery at 2000 Mountain Creek PKWY, Dallas, Tx 75211 (214-467-3374). The family asks that you please arrive 15 minutes before 9:00AM. They will direct you to one of the three lanes for the Tommy Morgan Group. <br><br>Arrangements are under the direction of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home, 511 West Main Street, Waxahachie, Texas.
