Gerald Bostwick, age 77, passed away May 14, 2022. He was born October 11, 1944 to Glenn and Bertha (Darrington) Bostwick in Council Bluffs, IA. He grew up on the family farm by Honey Creek, IA and spent his life farming in Pottawattamie and Harrison County. He enjoyed fishing, going to grandkids sporting events, traveling, playing cards, and visiting with friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia; son, Kevin;brother, Henry; brother-in-law, Ralph Demory; and sister-in-law Carolyn Bostwick. Gerald is survived by his wife, Elaine; grandchildren, Kevin Jr., and Patrisha Bostwick; daughter-in-law, Brenda Bostwick all of Missouri Valley; brothers, Duaine of Story City, Larry (Karen) of Crescent; sister, Donna Demory of Minot, ND and sister-in-law, Rosalie Bostwick of Council Bluffs; stepsons, Aaron Christensen of Council Bluffs and Curtis (Beth) Christensen of Marshall, MI; 7 step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, May 20, 2022. Inurnment in Branson Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Pottawattamie County Veterans Affairs.
