Johnnie A. Perry, Jr., 88, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday May 15, 2022. A visitation will be held by his family this Wednesday & Thursday evenings from 6 to 8 pm. Both visitations will take place at the home which is located at 3919 MacGregor Downs Road in Greenville. Johnnie was a native of Greenville where he lived all of his life. He was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church in Greenville for the past 68 years. Johnnie was employed with Union Carbide for many years until his retirement in 1989. He loved horses and animals. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Carrie Perry; and a son, John Albert "Al" Perry, III. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Barbara Perry; daughter, Kimberly Wilson and husband, Donnie, of Greenville; granddaughter, Hannah Kay Wilson of Wilmington; sisters, Joyce Keel of Alabama, and Carolyn Dennis and husband, Bobby, of Ayden; brother, Benny Perry of Pine Knoll Shores, Atlantic Beach; and nieces and nephews.
