<p>Julia Marie Dorsett Wolf, 97, of Louisville, passed away at her home Saturday, May 14th, 2022, surrounded by family, caregivers and friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Julia was born in Louisville on October 11th, 1924, to the late Sudie Ann and Lon Dorsett. On June 12th, 1948, she wed her husband, the late Dr. Paul Aaron Wolf, while attending the University Louisville. She worked full-time at Gambel Brothers where she was a very valued secretary. She left Gambel Brothers to start a medical practice with her husband in 1957. She became his assistant and bookkeeper. She and Paul welcomed their five children from 1954-1959. She joined the Okolona Women’s Club. She made ceramics at Christmas, and along with the other women, sold them. The money they made went to help children whose families didn’t have the ability to pay for kindergarten because she felt that the future of any child began early.</p><p><br></p><p>She is survived by her loving children, sons, Dr. Bruce (Joan), Jeffrey (Nettie), Eric (Julie) and Steven (Pam) Wolf; daughter, Bonnie Sue Wolf; 11 grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, Anna Rose, Zachary, Nicolas, Casandra, Jake, Ellen, Gus, Sam and Rose; 7 great-grandchildren; Harris, Amelia, Jonah, Levi, Mac, Odin and Audrey; her loving caregivers, Catherine and Yolanda Hammond; and many close friends.</p><p><br></p><p>Her visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20th, 2022, at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd., Louisville, KY 40205, with a service to follow at Highlands. Burial will be at Louisville Memorial Gardens West. </p><p><br></p><p>Expressions of sympathy in Julia’s honor may be made to The Center for Women and Families or Hosparus.</p>
