Floyd L. Stubbs

<p><strong>Floyd L. Stubbs age 79 of Route 219 Brockway, PA; (Steele Town) died on Monday May 16, 2022 peacefully at his home. Born on June 28, 1942 in Walburn Run (Brockway, PA) he was the son of the late George and Sarah Jane Carr Stubbs. He was married to Sandra Becker and they just celebrated 60 years of Marriage in January of 2022. Retired, Floyd had been employed at Brockway Pressed Metals for 43 years. He was a member of the Brockway Church of God. Floyd had a passion for tinkering with old cars, tractors, motorcycles and anything with an engine. His greatest love came from spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Sandy he is also survived by a daughter Brenda Stubbs Schaffer and her fianc&eacute; John Bowser of Brookville, PA; a son Norman Stubbs also of Brookville and a sister Dorothy Wingard of Salamanca, NY. Floyd is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Joshua (Rachel) Kriner, Katelyn Uplinger, Kelli (Miles) Stutsman, Quintin Stubbs and Tatyana Stubbs; as well as by 4 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death a son Jeremy Stubbs; brothers: Kenneth, Ronald and Gary Stubbs and twin sisters Beverly and Bernice Bennett, Betty Fields and Mildred Kline. Calling hours will be on Wednesday May 18 from 2 PM to 4 PM and again from 5 PM to 6 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 6 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Nagele officiating. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens at Ridgway, PA.</strong></p>
