Arthur C. Turbide

DIXFIELD – Arthur C. Turbide, 86, died Sunday May 15, 2022 at his residence on Beedy Brook Lane in Dixfield. Born in Rumford, ME on October 28, 1935 he was a son of Joseph and Louise (Glover) Turbide. Arthur was a graduate of Stephens High School in Rumford and worked for Boise Cascade Paper Mill in Rumford as a Lime Kiln Operator. He was a communicant of the Parish of The Holy Savior St Athanasius St John Church where he sang in the choir. He was a 60-year member of Oakdale Country Club in Mexico and the Eagles Club. Arthur was married in Mexico, ME on February 20, 1960 to Deborah Newman who died in Dixfield on October 7, 2019. Survivors include his sons, Mark and wife Lori of Goose Creek, SC, Steven and wife Brenda of Dixfield, Glenn of Dixfield, and Eric and wife Tammy of Livermore, grandchildren Amanda, Chad, Nicole, Josh and Jeran, great-grandchildren, Mark, Cooper, Avery, Echo and Charlie He was predeceased by his wife Debbie, a grandson Taydin, brothers, Paul, Lawrence and Alfred. Graveside service will be held 11 AM Friday May 20, 2022 at St john Cemetery in Rumford.
